Pudong Grade 1: Spring Field Trip

It’s already spring, and our students were all thrilled to have a spring field trip during their busy learning week. On the afternoon of Wednesday March 21st, the entre 1st grade of SHSID’s Pudong Campus had a wonderful field trip to a family-owned farm. Thanks to our generous Yutong’s family, all of our students were able to share some precious moments with animals including goats, rabbits, deer, ducks and quail. By feeding those animals, our students learned how to treat other creatures with love and care, sharing sympathy. When they visited the vegetable plantation, they were touched by how much effort the farm owners and workers made in order to grow vegetables. After the trip, the students were also treated by Yutong’s family with some delicious fruit. When the students sat together and satiated themselves, their day of learning and fun was finally complete.
