Grades 9-12:Science Fair
Grades 9-12:Science Fair
Do you miss the experiments you once performed during chemistry, physics, or science class? Do you miss the fun and joy you had during those experiences and find yourself forever looking back on those times with enduring happiness and a lingering need to conduct more scientific experiments? This year’s science fair was extremely lively and jubilant, as students from Grade 9 through 12 had the opportunity to experience various types of amazing and engaging science experiments, games, and activities. There was a wide range of activities across many classrooms ranging from The Bottle Balance Challenge and Jenga to FRC robot shows and BioHelix Club shows.
With one and a half hour of free roaming, there really was a plethora of activities that students could freely choose from, and experience experiments that they never before did nor even dreamed of doing. Not only were there various challenges and scientific games in which students could partake in, there were also competitions such as the Balancing Equations Championships where students could battle it out with each other.
For those who are looking to spend some time learning about science and technology, they were definitely not left out. There were lectures regarding drug discoveries, frontiers in Biotech, and various other activities where students could learn new concepts in areas of science and technology. While partaking in the various activities, students could also get stickers and stamps which could be traded for gifts and prizes. The more you learned and participated in the different games and activities, the more gifts you could get!
