Puxi Grade One: Making Fossils in Science Class

During Science class on March 19th, all the first graders made ‘fossils’ from clay.

First they went outdoors to pick a variety of tree leaves. Then they imprinted the leaves into soft clay. Later, when the clay dried, the marks of the leaves remained on the surface of the clay. Then the science teachers taught the students all about fossils. All the first graders had great fun and learned about fossils in an impressive way. Every student loved the Science class so much!
