Pudong Grade 3: Buddy Reading Was So Much Fun!

On March 20th the 3rd graders of Pudong campus took part in a fun and beneficial reading activity called Buddy Reading.

The 3rd graders were paired up with 5th graders during Personal Growth Class. First, they broke the ice by asking some ‘meet and greet’ questions. Then they took turns to read the story to each other. The 5th graders would read the story first as models, and then listened carefully. Sometimes, the older students would help the 3rd graders correct some problems. Furthermore, some younger students were longing to ask about some grammar rules and vocabulary words. During the interaction, the 3rd graders not only improved their reading skills, but also got to know more friends from another grade! This helped grow our school community and each student’s circle of friends.
