Girls SSSA Football Tournaments 17/03.
Recently the SHSID U11s travelled to SCL for their games. Targeting a few wins and progression to the next stage, they were unfortunate enough to miss out on the semi finals due to some goal-less draws. Experience and practice will prove successful in the end!
The U19 Girls travelled to Wellington College where they played in a 6 team tournament. Winning two games, drawing two and losing one took them to third place, missing out on 2nd place because of goal difference. It was a tough one to take, but a huge improvement for the team. Could the SSS Football League playoffs be in reach for our Girls Football Stallions?
The U13 Girls made SHSID history when they travelled to SUIS Jiaoke and won our first ever Girls Football tournament. Bearing in mind that our Girls’ programme still only in its 2nd year, this is a huge accomplishment. Congratulations to all involved, including Coach Claus who has worked hard to develop the team.
We are looking forward to our next set of tournaments with both boys and girls!
