Puxi Grade 1: Health Week

From March 4th to 16th, all the Grade One students of SHSID have learned about health in their Personal Growth classes. All the teachers would like to encourage the children to have a healthy semester, so they made some lessons and activities to help the students make healthy choices in their daily lives.

The teachers prepared many videos, activities, and games to encourage the students to raise healthy habits such as drinking enough water every day, eating lots of fruit and vegetables, exercising at least 30 minutes each day, etc. The teachers made a “Health Wall” and pasted many photos with the students doing exercises, drinking and eating healthy food, or brushing teeth on the wall. This is to remind the students of which healthy habits they should be maintaining.

For the Personal Growth class of March 15th, the teachers prepared fruit salad for the first graders. All the students enjoyed their healthy food, and learned how important and is to ear healthily.

Every teacher believes that raising healthy habits is essential for every child for their life in general. Hopefully each first grader may have a healthy and happy life.
