SHSID Students Achieved Great Results in the 2018 CTB competitions

China Thinks Big (CTB) is the biggest research and problem-solving competition for high school students in China. From March 10th to 11th, more than 300 teams from all over China competed in the final round of the 2018 CTB competition in Shanghai. From October 2017, more than 20 teams of SHSID students participated in the preliminary round of the 2018 CTB and finally 10 teams qualified to enter the final round. After two days’ competition in the final round, one team of G10 students won the first prize with their research project to create a special timer to raise people’s awareness of water protection. Another team of G9 students won the second prize with a research project on the reuse of packages. A group of G10 students won third prize with research project on about the protection of historical architecture along Shanghai’s Suzhou Creek, using VR technology! Two other G11 student teams received the Outstanding Oral Presentation Prize and the Outstanding Social Initiative Prize. Congratulations to all of them!
