Grades 9-10:Pi Day activities

On March 14th, the 9th and 10th graders actively participated in the Pi Day activities hosted during lunchtime. Three preliminary rounds lasting 10 minutes each were held first. The participants had to solve each problem in order to survive until the final round. The students who entered the final round could earn a bonus point on their math monthly test. The final winner of Pi Day could get three extra points while the student who finished in second place could get two. All of the students participated in the activities enthusiastically. All students were discuss math problems with passion and fervor in the hallways of the Zhongxing Annex building. After a fierce contest between the competitors, Peter from 9(6) became the ultimate winner. Jade Yue and Summer Jin from 10th grade earned second and third place. Congratulations! We hope all the students enjoyed their time playing with mathematics!
