Puxi Grade 3: Don’t Miss the Sowing Season!

March 7th was Green Day for Puxi’s Grade 3 students. On this day, the students planted African daisies together, and hope their flowers will blossom in the coming weeks.

During the precious spring drizzle, Grade 3’s students came to school wearing green. During Personal Growth class every child got a green pot and a base. Their teachers separated the soil and seeds for every student and told them how to water and fertilize their plants. The students carefully spread the seeds evenly on the wet soil and put another thin layer of soil on the very top. At last they watered it again and finished the day’s planting. Every student will bring their pot back home and take good care of it. We hope their daisies will blossom soon!

This green spring day brought us blooms and hopes. The class not only brought the students closer to the nature, but also provided them some meaningful learning about environmental protection.
