Puxi Grades 1-2: Dr. Seuss Week— Twisted Tuesday

Dr. Seuss was one of the most popular American writers and illustrators of children’s books of the 20th century. He created many wonderful characters that have had a great influence on generations of children around the world.

To show our respect to this great writer, all the first and second graders and teachers in SHSID celebrate a whole week called ‘Dr. Seuss Week’ to encourage all of our students read more of Dr. Seuss’ books.

March 13th was ‘Twisted Tuesday’, in celebration of one of the most famous books from Dr. Seuss, Hop on Pop. The teachers read the book to the students and everyone tried their best to be twisted. Some students wore their clothes on backwards. Some students wore two different shoes or socks. We also have some students wearing trousers around their neck or skirts on their heads! It was such a fun!

All the children are looking forward to the coming interesting days.
