Pudong Grade 1: Body Wise

On Tuesday March 6th, the first graders of SHSID Pudong Campus experienced a special Personal Growth class about being ‘Body Wise’. During the lesson, our students were told on how important it is to protect ourselves, especially the critical parts on our body. Although the students are only in the first grade now, they understand the differences between reasonable body touching and the intolerable physical contact. During the lesson, students have used colored pens to highlight the parts that are touchable and also covered the critical parts with their own designed clothes. By doing this, students were able to internalize the notion of protecting themselves in their daily lives.
