Pudong Grade 2: Lantern Festival with lantern riddles

In order to celebrate the upcoming Lantern Festival, the second graders gathered together with their teachers to hold an exciting lantern riddle meeting during Personal Growth class. The kids are very fond of this traditional festival, but only a few of them know much about it. Therefore, we told the kids where this Lantern Festival comes from and why we have these “lantern riddle” traditions during Chinese class. Based on these interesting stories, our kids were so excited to guess the lantern riddles. They could collect a ‘golden egg’ through guessing the answer correctly. After this lantern riddle meet, the teachers gave some sweet fruity dumplings to every kid. They were all so happy!
