Grades 9-10: Team Building training meeting
Grades 9-10: Team Building training meeting
On the 26th of Feb, all the homeroom teachers and teacher advisers of the Zhongxing Building participated in the “Team building training meeting of Grade 9-10”. The PE teacher Mr. Yu Jie explained some amazing team building games for students like Hula Hoop Pass, Catch Tail, Balloon Relay Race, Newspaper Tower, Mine Field and so on, which involve all the people in one group competing, cooperating, and playing games together. Moreover, some other elements can be added to these activities to help students develop a variety skills through play.
For example, in the game of “Newspaper Tower”, the challenge is for the young people to work out how to build as tall a newspaper tower as they can. The winning team is the one with the tallest tower. However, on the off-chance that two teams have towers that are the exact same height, the design and stability will also be considered: the most aesthetically pleasing newspaper tower design, the one that has the most creative design, or the one that has the highest stability which may withstand a strong wind without any support. Such wonderful activities will enrich our students’ school experiences and guide them to improve their practical skills.
