Pudong Campus: Opening Ceremony

With the arrival of the Chinese New Year, the new semester has begun. All the teachers and students of SHSID’s Pudong campus assembled in the auditorium at 8:30am on Feb 23rd to attend the Grand opening ceremony for the new semester. The ceremony was exhilarating and inspiring.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Ms. Liu, the director of Pudong campus, extended warm greetings to all the students and teachers. Then she shared an inspiring piece of poetry named Stepping Upon the Stork Tower, written by the famous poet Wang Zhihuan, to send her sincere wishes to all the students. After that, the representatives from Grade 1 to Grade 5 Gave their speeches in order to express their outlook and objectives for the new semester. All the talented representatives did a great job, and impressed everyone present! After the inspiring speeches came the climax of the ceremony: the awards ceremony. The award-winning students stepped up to the stage and won not only prizes but also the respect of all the people in the auditorium.

At the end of the ceremony, all teachers, in red, lined up on stage for a group photo. Together they witnessed the brand new beginning of this semester.
