Puxi Grades 1-2: Opening Ceremony

During the first period of March 23rd, the first school day of the new semester, all the Grade 1 and 2 teachers and students gathered together in the Primary auditorium to celebrate the beginning of the new semester.

The opening ceremony began with speeches from the Principal of SHSID, Mr Liu, and the director of the Primary Section, Ms. Bao. They made a new semester wish for every student: to be a superhero. All the teachers hope that every student can be more kind, self-disciplined, helpful, and respectful to all the people around them. Every student can be a “better me” in the new semester. Two students, Elaine Fan from Grade 1 and Esther Lin from Grade 2 shared their plans for the new semester with all the other students and teachers.

Afterwards, everyone clapped and cheered for all the students and classes who won star prizes and best classes awards for achievements during the last semester. A successful opening ceremony is a great sign for every student over the coming semester!
