Puxi Grade 1: Excellent Winter Vacation Homework Show

After the new semester began on February 23rd, every first grader brought their winter vacation homework projects to school.

The work the kids did for their Chinese class project, entitled Sweet Memories of Vacation, really impressed all the teachers. Every student spent a lot of time and energy on the project and everyone shared their favorite memories with others. The students shared with their teachers and classmates the service they have done for their families, the skills they learned during the vacation, the places they have enjoyed so much with families, and so on. Each of the first graders gave a show and tell speech to present their project during Chinese class. That helped their oral Chinese skills a lot, and improve their courage during public speaking.

The first graders were also required to do a Fraction Pizza as their math vacation project. While working on this project, all the first graders reviewed the basic concepts of fractions very effectively.

All the teachers appreciated the great amount of effort that the students spent on their winter vacation homework.
