New Semester Economics Department Faculty’s meeting

At the beginning of the new semester, Ms. Zhang Li, the head of the Economics Department, held the first department meeting. The main task of the meeting was to inform the teachers of the plans for the new semester.

First, several relevant teachers would be responsible for introducing various economics courses to Grade 9 & 10 students during the Course Day on Feb 24th. After that, there will be a fair, where students may ask questions about the courses. Through the introduction of courses set at different levels, covering different content and also attached to various kinds of economics competitions in and outside the school, our students will better understand the school’s Economics courses and make better course selection choices based on this knowledge.

Next, the teachers discussed the coming Economics Week to be held during Week 6, from March 26th to March 30th. The activity will be divided into two parts: project presentation and a written economics test. Students may bring their presentations to the exhibition and other students may comment and vote on them. The written test will test students’ knowledge of economics theories and current economics news. Furthermore, other things including public classes, top exam papers, and PBL courses were also discussed in the meeting.
