SHSID Stallions @Jr. NBA Final

From November, the SHSID Stallions boys basketball team has taken part and achieved significant results in the regular season of the 2017-18 Jr. NBA Shanghai League. On the afternoon of January 27, 2018, SHSID Stallions team , last year’s Jr. NBA champion, faced Nanmo in the final round at Shanghai Vango Sports Center.

It was a challenging endeavor for the Stallions team. The opponent, Nanmo, is an experienced, well-established team in Shanghai. Even though the Stallions were unable to defeat Nanmo in the final Jr. NBA games, our team displayed unremitting perseverance and fighting spirit throughout the entire game. In spite of being the runner up, Stallions won great approval from the opponent, fans, and the officials of the Jr. NBA.

SHSID has taken the lead in growing scholastic basketball in Shanghai. This tournament has brought the Stallions team valuable experience, and with great support of the school and the coach, James Lawman, the Stallions will continue to strengthen and expand to become the strongest team in Shanghai.
