High School Math Mentor-New Teacher Seminar

On the afternoon of January 11th, the International Division High School Math teachers held their fourth Mentor-New Teacher Seminar in the Xianmian Building. First, Ms Zhu Yanjin asked the new teachers to share one test paper that they designed through the physical projector and talk about what they had learned from it. Then she systematically analyzed the characteristics that a good test paper should have. She also pointed out the measures that teachers should take and the things that teachers should beware in the process of test paper design, with additional emphasis on the importance to analyze students’ individual characteristics, even if the teacher has taught the same grade and same level before. Finally, with the final version of their most recently designed test papers, the new teachers learnt from each other.
