Puxi Grade 2: Historical Figures and Famous People

In Social Studies class on both January 3rd and 5th, second grade students at SHSID participated in a project called Historical Figures and Famous People.

All the second graders have been preparing for that project for the last two weeks. First of all, each of them selected a famous person on their own. Then on January 3rd or 5th, the students shared facts about their person with their classmates and did a presentation while

dressed up as that person. To do the presentation, the students needed to search for historical facts and information on that person through all kinds of approaches.

Every student did a good job at both the presentation and the dress-up. All the students really enjoyed this activity a lot, and learned a lot about famous figures from history in the process.
