In December, the first graders learned about fractions. The topic looked strange to them at first but eventually brought a lot of fun, especially when they made their very own fraction flowers!

The Students made three fraction flowers: one for halves, one for thirds, and one for quarters. There were at least five petals on each fraction flower. On each petal, the students needed to illustrate that fraction in different ways. Their fraction flowers were looking so pretty after the kids decorated them!
