Grades 7-8: Award for Berkeley Math Tournament

On December 28th, the junior section Math group arranged an award ceremony for our Berkeley Mini Math Tournament contestants. 15 students from seventh and eighth grade who did outstanding work at the tournament received their certificates; the result of their hard work, awarded by Mr. Ni. Through the accumulation of knowledge at school and effort made during the competition, two teams triumphed and received placed within the top 10 in overall score. Seventh and eighth grade director Mr. Ni and the group leader of the Junior Section Math group Ms. Yan awarded the students who had prevailed in the tournament and took a picture with them. Through this ceremony, the students feel that their math skills are appreciated, and their passion for math continues to escalate. We know that they will do even better in the next event.
