Splendid performance in Shanghai High School Cup Contest

On December 9th, the annual Shanghai High School Cup Contest began at the Zhongxing Building in Shanghai High School, which was open to international and local school students living in Shanghai. This scientific competition required students to present their actual knowledge and skills in STEM. All contestants had to give explanations of their chosen topic and the answer challenging questions from the judges. After a series of intense sessions, students from SHSID exhibited their excellent strength and confidence, and were nominated for awards. Dongju Shin won first prize in the field of environmental science, and other students such as Jacqueline Gu also won many awards with their projects covering different subjects, such as engineering, botany, environmental science, medicine and health, and social sciences. We are proud of them, and hope that next year more students from SHSID will participate and continue to obtain impressive results.
