Grade 6: 2017 Fantastic Art Festival
Grade 6: 2017 Fantastic Art Festival
The Art Festival of 5th and 6th grade concluded successfully. The entire two grades came to the auditorium. The 5th and 6th grade hosts were the first to come to stage, wearing really formal clothes and announcing the start of the Art Festival! Everyone cheered, as they were hoping for the best SHSID show ever.
They were lots of musical performances that we will never forget. They were many students playing solo on the piano, cello and even the Chinese zither. The Wind Ensemble blew our minds, and the String Ensemble- presented by our music teachers- was also fabulous. Even the students who didn’t like classical music were amazed by the speed of the fingers on the piano and the upbeat sound of the musical groups.
The students in this school had also fabulous dancing skills. Everybody was amazed by the solo Latin dances and the super flexible gymnast. The performance of the Chinese Dance Club took us back to the ancient times. The group dances were so cool and educational that they reminded us to put down our cell phones and care about the people around us. There was even a song called Panama displaying the culture of this country.
The 5th grade harmonica group performance was creative– they even added singing! The 6th grade Bamboo Flute Group played an ancient Chinese piece of music, with a dragon to help them! In the middle of the shows there was Santa Claus who announced the Lucky Draw! Finally, the last performance was one of the best: it was the cheerleaders! They lifted their partners high up in the air…
This was one of the greatest Art Festivals SHSID has ever seen.
