Grades 5-6: A Diverse and Exciting Learning Atmosphere

On the afternoon of December 6th, the SHSID Grade 6 Chinese Character Dictation Competition was held in the Primary School auditorium. Before this final competition, the native Chinese classes had selected three students from their class through preliminaries as contestants. On this day, under the guidance of the presiding teacher, all the contestants came onto the stage in an orderly manner and competed against each other. The audience concentrated and relished every moment. When the word came out from the teacher’s mouth, some contestants thought for a while, and some made a quick call.

After the words and interpretation were shown on the screen, some students cheered, and some suddenly realized the answer. Several rounds of confrontation, the game ended. Students enjoyed the excitement of the game and also learned more idioms, more profound Chinese vocabulary, and collected more drops from the endless ocean of human knowledge. We hope students can continue to expand their knowledge and continue to reach breakthrough upon breakthrough!
