Puxi Grade 5: Brain Storm

On December 12th, the SHSID fifth graders competed against each other in Room 213. The competition was about solving crimes and investigating crime scenes. Each class had one team with three competitors, and the team had one chance to answer. Each question was given 1 minute, sometimes longer. If the question wasn’t answered correctly in one minute, then it would be “dead”, which means you couldn’t answer it anymore. The answer will be shown after each question is “dead”. There were 20 questions in all, and each of them was worth 2 points (One for the correct answer, one for the explanation)

Members of the 5th and 6th Grade ASB hosted the event. The event was quite successful. If you are also interested in the competition, here is one of the questions to give you a little taste:

……

Josephine was in her hotel room, quietly reading, when she heard a knock on the door. Josephine walked over and opened the door. There was a stranger standing in the doorway.

He said, "Sorry. I thought this was my room."

Josephine slammed the door in his face and immediately thought of it as suspicious.

What caused Josephine to raise her suspicions?

……

Answer: If the man thought it was his room, why would he knock before entering?

Enough with the questions! Now for the most exciting part: the RESULTS!!

……

In third place: Class 5(1) and 5(4)

In second place: Class 5(2)

And in the first place... Class 5(3)!

CONGRATULATIONS!
