Story Moms’ Last Visit to Grade 2 (For the Semester!)

All the second graders at SHSID enjoyed a wonderful story about a silly goose called Petunia. This silly goose Petunia thought that she would be very smart and wise, by carrying a book under her wings. She caused so much trouble for her friends because of her unwise suggestions. At last Petunia realized that what makes a person wise and smart is not carrying a book but reading a book and learning from it.

All the students participated in the group discussion and activities very actively and discussed a lot of ways to help both Petunia and themselves become more and more wise and smart. All the second graders and teachers are looking forward to Story Mom adventures in the coming semester.
