Puxi Grade 1: Warm Hug, Warm Story

On December 14th, the story moms came to SHSID Puxi’s first grade and brought a new story called ‘The Giant Hug’.

Wen, the main character, is a young pig who lives far away from his grandma’s home. He misses his grandma very much and he wants to send a warm hug to her by post. The postmen hugged each other to post Wen’s hug to his grandma. And then, grandma also sent the special gift back to Wen through post.

Everyone was moved by this story as they found that love could be felt in such a simple way. After story time, the Puxi first graders also hugged each other to express their love and friendship to their classmates. Simple hugs enhance the relation between different people, which makes our society warmer and friendlier.
