Pudong Grade 5: Making Responsible Decisions

As fifth graders have grown up, they have been learning to be responsible for the decisions they make in life. On December 12th, the students had an intense discussion during their P&B lesson, talking about how they should be responsible, from tiny decisions in life like what to eat, toward moral choices on what we should do and should not do. Their teachers used the example of eating healthy food as the introduction, and gradually helped students to realize how and when they should say no to unreasonable requests. The Students listened so attentively that all of them raised their hands for further discussion. At the end of the lesson, students were asked to draw a ‘healthy food plate’, from which, students have learnt how to make independent, reasonable choices.
