Pudong Campus: National Flag Competition

On Thursday, December 7th, students in fifth grade from SHSID’s Pudong Campus took part in an interesting competition in their CAS class. In this competition, students had to recognize as many national flags as possible and to beat their classmates to win the first prize. Prior to this day, when their homeroom teachers announced the holding of this games, the students were shown many national flags from around the world. The students had approximately half a week to memorize those flags and to remember the countries’ distinguishing features. During the competition, students raised hands, racing to answer the questions. They were glad that they have been provided with such a chance to appreciate other cultures and nations. We hope that this activity would promote cultural diversity on campus.
