Pudong Campus: Rather Giving Than Receiving

Although the Charity Fair finally came to an end, our students’ care will never cease spreading across the world. On Thursday afternoon, December 7th, students from SHSID’s Pudong campus whose group raised most during the Charity Fair, were

accompanied by teachers as well as parents to donate the funds personally, experiencing a memorable moment in the process.

Students from Grade 1 and Grade 3 have been visiting the Shanghai Healing Home this year. At the beginning, Aaron, the director of the Shanghai Healing Home gave all the students a speech while embracing his ‘son’. The students were listening attentively, asking questions and hearing their answers. During the following tour within the Home, the students walked quietly in order not to the babies. Then, they even shared some time playing together. Our students were so moved by how love and care has been spread in this way. Each one donated the funds that he/she has raised and felt grateful in giving rather than receiving.
