Pudong Campus:Geo Fair

The Grade 1 to Grade 5 students of Pudong campus experienced a fantastic Geo Fair on November 28th, 2017. Every homeroom had already picked a 'target country' beforehand. Teachers in each homeroom briefly introduced their chosen nation's food, culture, and history to their students and they made full preparations together. Activities in our Geo Fair were extremely interesting.

At two o'clock, the Geo Fair began, right on schedule!

You could visit class 5(2) to enjoy Cuban-style non-alcoholic Mojitos. They tasted really good, with a light mint flavor. People who came to this room were able to play Cuban games and enjoying Cuban dances. Many games were organized by the Class 4(2) teachers, and pieces of Japanese shushi were ready for students to taste! However, they were not free. The students were required to learn basic knowledge about Japan and take a quiz first. Class 3(1) was a beautiful place full of rich African style. Some classmates were holding cards with animals' pictures on them. People were required to hit the animal from Zambia with a small ball. Class 3(2) encouraged students to try a Korean game called 'Pitch Pot'. If you were able to win, you might get a fabulous Korean snack as a prize. Mexico was the country picked by the 2(2) teacher. He was wearing a traditional Mexican costume and teaching Mexican Spanish. Class 1(1) had prepared some Indian picture books. Students were welcome to design their own Indian paintings and taste Indian curry rice. The students learned a lot of new knowledge and enjoyed the nice food by participating in the Geo Fair actively. Our teachers appreciated their students' great assistance. What a great day to be great global citizens!
