Puxi Grade 4: Mole Day

During CAS class on November 30th, the ASB members from Grade 9 & Grade 10 organized this year’s Mole Day in the Sodexo Cafeteria. The fourth graders celebrated Mole Day together with these big brothers and sisters.

Mole Day is an unofficial holiday celebrated among chemists, chemistry students and chemistry enthusiasts. Under the guidance of the eighth and ninth graders, the students of Grade 4 did some interesting experiments and played games related to chemistry. They used corn starch, balloons, shampoo and water to make stretchy balls. They used invisible ink to write on paper. They made blue beverages using sprite. They made fruit batteries and home-made ice cream. They also played a game called Element Tic Tac Toe.

The fourth graders explored chemistry together with the Grade 9 and Grade 10 students and had a lot of fun!
