Puxi Grade 1: Straw-Rocket Travel in Science Class

Puxi first graders have been studying about Space in their Science class recently. They learned a lot about the Sun, the Earth and the Moon. And on Nov. 24th, first graders made their own rockets with straw and paper and experienced an interesting Science class.

Teachers prepared all the materials they need for the class. First graders color the paper rocket and then cut it off to glue on the straw. When they finished the straw rocket, they could blow their rockets away. There were a lot of straw rockets flew in the classroom and all the first graders found a lot of fun from it.

There are a lot of mysterious secrets in the space and hope all the first graders can cultivate their interests in Science through classes.
