Puxi Grade 1: Fact Family Turkey

November 23rd is Thanksgiving. On this day, North American families get together and celebrate their harvest. On November 22nd, the Puxi campus first grade Math teachers assigned homework to students to make a ‘fact family turkey’ using three numbers.

This fact family turkey has a fat body and a pair of wings. Students wrote down three numbers that can make a ‘fact family’, and the addition and subtraction facts made by these numbers on the body and wings. Then they colored-in the turkey and glue its wings.

These fact family turkey will help the first graders to consolidate what they have learned this semester. Happy Thanksgiving!
