Grades 11-12：Writing Competition

This week, the 11th and 12th graders worked on their essay skills in the 2017 Writing Competition. Right after their harsh mid-term examinations, the students are back to usual school-life. This writing competition will definitely improve the essay-writing skills they need for the upcoming college application deadline. This time, the participants had 40 minutes in total to complete their essays. The writing competition provided three interesting and controversial topics for the high school students. On the topic of the environment, what can we, as individuals, do to help combat climate change? On the topic of work, is multi-tasking an effective method to improve efficiency? On the topic of technology, will CGI significantly improve the quality of future movies? Let us look forward to the grades of these fervent participants in next few days!
