8th Grade Library Assisstant Service Learning Team First Activity

On November 19th 2017, Library Assisstant Service Learning Team went to Minhang Library to have their first time activity. Following is what one them, Philip Chen, had to say.

Being a “librarian” in Minghang library is a tough and tiring job. We had to rearrange all the books on the bookshelf in the right order from the tallest book to the shortest book. We also had to make sure all of the books were placed the right way, and we needed to classify the books in order to send them to appointed areas. In this service learning period, we learned that being a librarian is not always so easy. We also learned that doing what we could do can benefit others greatly.

Through this activity they not only experienced the work of a librarian but also helped to create a better reading environment. Expect us to help more people in our next activity!
