Puxi Grade 4: Author Share

On the morning of November 21st, we were very lucky to have a visit from international author and illustrator Orit Bergman in the auditorium of primary section. Orit Bergman is originally from Israel, and scame all the way to Shanghai to tell us about her newest book The Diary of a Shark Catcher, which is one of an award-winner and a best-seller in Israel.

Bergman’s books all tell about her own personal experiences. During her book presentation Bergman retold the story about the day she caught a shark and she also presented us with a number of her illustrations.

The students thoroughly enjoyed learning about a new author, and many of the students purchased the book to keep as a valuable souvenir. We hope our students can develop a passion for reading, and let books become their best friends!
