Puxi First Grade：Thanksgiving, Giving Thanks!

This Thursday is Thanksgiving, a traditional North American festival. On that day, everybody expresses their gratitude for the things and people they are grateful for, such as their family, friends and teachers.

On November 20th, some first graders made a “Thanksgiving turkey card”. They colored the wings of their turkeys and meanwhile, thought about what they would do that night to express thanks to their family. Some students did a Thanksgiving word search and so learned more about the festival. The first grade teachers also assigned an exercise for the students to give thanks to their family by drawing pictures and expressing thanks using the internet, so that all the families can hear their voices online.

The first grade teachers would like every student to be thankful for the love and care they receive each day.
