Pudong Campus: Snack-Time Concert

On November 13th at SHSID’s Pudong campus, the Grade 1 to Grade 5 students discovered a piano in the first floor hallway. They were so, so curious about this giant black, mysterious instrument.

In order to create a friendly and warm environment and give more opportunities for our students to off show their talents, the Pudong teachers made this piano available to everyone. Our little pianists were well-prepared for this important event. If they wanted to play, they first had to make a reservation with their homeroom teachers. During snack time, we could find these pianists concentrating hard on playing the piano. Some pieces of music were aimed to relax people’s tense moods, while some pieces were inspiring and exciting. We could even imagine scenes of vast plains or busy streets in a city as we listened to these musical masterpieces. Some of our little music-appreciators said someone among our performer could become a great pianist in the future.
