Pudong Campus: Book Fair

November is regarded as our great “reading month” this year. On November 14th on Pudong campus, students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 enjoyed our book fair in the cafeteria. Two guests from the Shanghai Foreign Language bookstore were invited to display thousands of English language books in our school.

The students arrived in the afternoon and suddenly, our cafeteria became a bustling and crowded place. Higher grade students were the first to choose their favorite books. However, they found it very hard to pick the right one, because there was just so much to choose from. Even the younger students took their decisions very seriously.

After all those difficult choices, our students stood in a line and paid for the books quietly. Some chose science fiction, and some bought geographic handbooks, while others picked collections of fables. They were so delighted to get these books! We believe that they will try their best to be outstanding thinkers, readers and learners.
