Pudong Grade 5: Come Wind, Rain, or Snow…

Even the rain cannot stop students’ determination to go outside and enjoy nature. On Thursday, November 16th the students of SHSID’s Pudong campus have went on a a special field trip. Everyone was disappointed at first because of the rainy weather, but when the bus took off and headed toward Disney Town it turned out to only be drizzling. Although Plan A- Jinjiang Amusement Park- closed due to the “bad” weather, our students were even more thrilled when they realized that Plan B was Disney Town. The students had great fun there, especially the fifth-graders. They took pictures with each other, shared food, and bought souvenirs happily. With the adventure today, students have learnt to enjoy themselves and make adjustments according to whatever life presents them with, rather than complain.
