Pudong Grade 5: Grab A Book And Eat

With the advent of the DEAR week, students at SHSID’s Pudong Campus are encouraged to take every opportunity to read. As a consequence, the students were invited to attend the school book fair to purchase books they are interested in reading. During Tuesday’s P&B class, the fifth-grade students were taken by their homeroom teachers to the cafeteria— where the book fair was held—to browse and purchase books. The students were so delighted that almost all of them cried about the lack of cash that they brought in to school that day. Holding piles of books in their hands, the students smiled happily and could not wait to read them.
