Grade 8: Service Learning Team--CCSG
Grade 8: Service Learning Team--CCSG
This semester, Penny from (8(3) started a new service learning group called CCSG (Campus Cafeteria Service Group), and recruited 20 team members. After a month of service in the cafeteria, they learnt a lot.
Most of the CCSG members were very responsible. They went to the cafeteria on time, did what they were required to do, and made an effort to help people around them. Because of these members, students in the canteen will pay more attention to their dining etiquette from now on. Behaviors like running around, talking loudly and other uncivilized phenomenon are decreasing. The cafeteria's environment has become more and more positive.
But there are also some problems. A few members often forgot to go to the cafeteria, some did not go to duty on time or had temporary absence. In order to solve this problem, we send notices one day before duty-time. When members were unable to turn up, we’ll let other members swap places with the absent members. Slowly, our members are becoming more and more responsible.
With the effort from CCSG members the school canteen's dining environment has slowly changed. Hope CCSG will become even better in the future!
