Grade 8: Classroom Cleanness Service Team Activity
Grade 8: Classroom Cleanness Service Team Activity
SHSID’s Eighth graders have attended various service learning programs, among which the Classroom Cleanness Service Team(CCST) has played an important role in protecting our classrooms’ environments and improving the students' good habits.
Everyday during lunch break, the CCST members- using their duty scoring list and green, yellow, red cards, which represent the classroom’s tidiness- go and check each classroom’s environment. Most of the classrooms are neat and tidy, so they get a green card, but there are some classes that forget to do their tidy-up duties, or completed their duty but allowed the classroom to become messy again The CCST members will then remind the those ‘messy’ students to keep their classrooms tidy.
In related news, Grade 7 and 8 are having a classroom cleanliness competition, and the reward will be a Pizza Party! This competition has brought some very positive changes. In the last two weeks, almost every class got a green card, and CCST members took their tasks more seriously, checked more strictly, and reminded more effectively.
All in all, we hope that our teaching buildings will become more clean and tidy with the help of the CCST!
