Puxi Grade 2: Making A Family Tree

Recently, in social studies, all of the second graders have been learning about family histories. Each student made a family tree poster with the help of their parents. The parents helped their children learn more about their grandparents and their great-grandparents. The students also learned about the ways society changes and about some of the significant historical events that have happened in the past. When each student had completed their family tree with their family, they presented their poster to the class and explained some of their family history. The teachers hope that all of the students had a valuable learning experience doing this project, learning more about the history of their family, as well as the history of the country.
