Pudong Grade 3: Sports Meet, we have been waiting so long for you!

On Monday, October 23rd, the Sports Meet finally began! Since school postponed it due to the rainy days a week ago, all the 3rd graders of Pudong campus have been saving up energy to release on the day of the Sports Meet. They were so ready!!!

This year, Grade 3 students had to help out with Sports Meet preparations. They brought out chairs out for the parents, but none of them complained, because they knew because they have become so grown up this year, they need to take on more responsibilities. After the preparations, the students marched onto the dance field, and showed their marvelous dancing skills to all the teachers and parents!

Next, students started their competitions with a “bang” in the 30-meter dash. All the students were cheering for the athletes, and showing their support.

Then they had kangaroo jump (sack race), long jump, three-legged race, dribbling competition, and basketball toss. Some parents took part in the game and enjoyed the time playing with their kids. They said that all the memories will be so precious.

Last but not least, the breathtaking relay race came! All the athletes tried their best to win. Although it’s impossible for everyone to be the winner, every competitor truly enjoyed the hearing all their classmates cheering for them. Moreover, when they heard their parents and teachers cheering for them, they felt a sense of belonging.

The Sports Meet ended on an exhilarating note. All the 3rd graders became winners through their great efforts and sportsmanship. The day was made even sweeter when everyone earned a celebratory ice-cream cone at the end of the day!
