Puxi Grade 4 Story Moms: My Friend Rabbit

During P&B class on October 24th, our story moms came to the Fourth Grade with a very interesting story named My Friend Rabbit, written by Eric Rohmann. The rabbit in this story is a kind and sharing rabbit that gets into all types of situations. The book begins when Mouse lets his best friend, Rabbit, play with his brand-new airplane, and trouble is not far behind. But Mouse is a good friend who stays by Rabbit’s side when trouble comes, proving to us readers the meaning of true friendship.

After the story, the students were asked to do a group work. They needed to choose 11 English words from the words prepared in advance by the story moms, and paste them onto a piece of paper. The 11 initials of each word should spell out the phrase Best Friend.

All students enjoyed this lovely story and the activity too. It helped start a great discussion on giving the benefit of the doubt, on unconditional love, and in being a faithful friend.
