Grade 6: Autumn Trip 2017

Have you ever wondered how films are made? The 6th grade students had a feast of knowledge at the Shanghai Film Museum on October 12th. They learned about a variety of different aspects pertaining to film, from filming technology to animation construction.

The students began their visit by watching a short 4-D movie, Monkey King, before scattering off to navigate the wide-constructed four-floor museum in groups.

From the comics and animations, to the hall of fame and history of films, to the equipment involved behind the scenes, the 6th grade students learned plenty and were very engaged. The illustrious descriptions, accompanied with actual materials, provided the students with knowledge that they may never have the opportunity to learn at school.

After two hours of roaming, they gathered on the bus to return back to school. On the bus, there was loud chatter and discussion of all the fun that they had at the museum. All of the students very evidently enjoyed the tour!
