Puxi Grade 5:Shanghai Ocean Aquarium

On Thursday, the fifth graders went to Shanghai Ocean Aquarium, which is one of the largest oceanic aquariums in China. It every living thing from the ocean you can think of. On the bus, the students talked and sung as they waited for the time to pass. After about 40 minutes, they arrived.

They got into groups and explored. They first went through the North America section, where they saw some cool alligators. Some were on land drying off, and some were below water. One was letting its eyes poke just above the waterline. When they went into the South America section, the students started to take pictures. They had worked on a task for Geography class where they researched an animal in the South America section. They saw knife fish, river turtles, and various other sea animals. When they went through underwater tunnel, we saw jelly fish, tiger sharks and stingrays. These creatures made up an amazing colorful world!

This field trip was a definite success. The students had the chance to see so many different species in the ocean. Before they left, the students got their souvenirs to keep this good memory. Everybody loved this experience!
